Giving the Prayer Fidya to Shi‘is

Question

May Zayd give the fidya for the prayers of his wife (who has passed away) to his brother-in-law (his sister’s husband) and his sister, or not — given that they have adopted the Shi‘i madhhab?

Answer

It should not be given to them.
