Ruling on fidya when awareness is lost in the final illness

Question

Is fidya wajib for the prayers that could not be performed because the person was without consciousness and awareness during the terminal illness, or not?

Answer

If consciousness and awareness were absent for the span of six prayers, then fidya for them is not wajib.
