Dropping the alif of the first-person plural ending

Question

If the reciter recited “أَنْزَلْنَ” instead of “لَوْ أَنزَلْنَا هَـٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانَ” (Surah al-Hashr, 59:21), that is, he replaced the first-person plural with the third-person feminine plural, will the prayer become fasid?

Answer

Dropping this alif of the first-person plural in this place is not correct; one must be fully careful about it. However, in other places, when two sukuns meet, this alif drops out, as in “وَأَنزَلْنَا ٱلْحَدِيدَ” (Surah al-Hadid, 57:25) and “نَزَّلْنَا ٱلذِّكْرَ” (Surah al-Hijr, 15:9).
