Repeating a passage after reciting it wrongly

Question

If the imam, in the first rak‘a, recites some verse in such a way that the prayer becomes fasid (invalid) because of it, but corrects it in the second rak‘a, will the prayer in that case remain fasid, or will its invalidity be removed and the prayer become sound?

Answer

It will remain fasid.
