Praying in a half-sleeved kurta and trousers below the ankles

Question

What is the ruling on praying while wearing a half-sleeved kurta (a long loose shirt), or a sleeveless vest, or trousers below the ankles (as has become the custom in our time)?

Answer

It is makruh.
