When a prayer is repeated several days later, are the adhan and iqama given for it too?

Question

If, after several days, it is established that the prayer in congregation was not [validly] performed, what course is to be adopted in such a case?

Answer

In the case described, let them perform the prayer in congregation with the adhan and iqama. [ar]وفي المجتبى: قوم ذكروا فساد الصلاة، صلوها في المسجد في الوقت قضوها بجماعة فيه ولا يعيدون الأذان والإقامة، وإن قضوها بعد الوقت قضوها في غير ذلك المسجد بأذان وإقامة (الشامي ١/٣٦٣).
