Did the Prophets ﵈ Receive Prophethood Through the Prophet ﷺ?

Question

Is the prophethood of the prophets ﵈ intrinsic (bi-l-dhat) or incidental (bi-l-‘arad)? Did Allah Most High grant prophethood to the prophets ﵈ through the mediation of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, or without mediation?
