The Presentation of Deeds Twice a Week
Question
It is commonly said that every Friday and every Monday morning, the deeds of the entire umma are presented before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, the master of creation. What is the true basis of this, and to what extent is it correct? Khwaja ‘Amir Hasan, may Allah forgive him.
Answer
On Mondays and Thursdays the deeds of the entire umma are presented before the court of Allah, Blessed and Most High, while on Fridays they are presented to the prophets ﵇ and to [deceased] forebears.
