What to Do If the Noble Quran Accidentally Falls

If the Noble Qur’an accidentally falls from someone’s hand, what should he do?

Answer

[He should perform] istighfar (seeking Allah’s forgiveness) and tawba (repentance), since a mistake has occurred.
