Is a Child Born of Zina an Equal (Kuf’) for One Not Born of Zina?

[ar]يا أيها الأساتذة الكرام والمفتون العظام، هل ترون جواز تزوج ولد الزنا مع غير الولد الزنا؟ فإن كان رأيكم فيه إيجابا كان أو سلبا فهل لكم في شفائي بأن بينوا مأخذه وتوضحوا مخارجه. فقط[/ar] Question: “O noble teachers and great muftis! Do you consider it permissible for a child born of zina (fornication) to marry one not born of zina? Whatever your view on it may be — affirmative or negative — would you be so kind as to cure me by explaining its basis and clarifying its grounds?”

[ar]إن كان السؤال عن نفس الجواز فلا إشكال فيه، وإن كان عن الكفاءة فجوابه يفهم مما قال الحصكفي فيما علقه على الملتقى: لو تزوجته على أنه حر فإذا هو عبد، أو على أنه فلان بن فلان فإذا هو لقيط أو ابن زنا، أو على أنه سني فظهر أنه بدعي، أو على أنه قادر على المهر والنفقة فإذا هو عاجز، فإنه يثبت لها الخيار.[/ar] If the question is about the permissibility (of the marriage)
