Marriage of an Adulteress to the Man Who Committed Zina with Her

Question

May a man who has committed zina (fornication) contract a nikah with the adulteress or not? If the adulteress becomes pregnant, when may this man who committed zina contract a nikah with her?

Answer

Even if the adulteress is pregnant from the man who committed zina with her, his nikah with her is valid, and intercourse with her is also permissible. If the adulteress is neither in anyone’s nikah nor in ‘idda, then her nikah is valid in that case as well.
