How long the first and second khutbas should be

Question

On Friday the first khutba recited was that of Jumu‘a, but the second khutba recited was that of the two Eids, and after the khutba was recited in this way the Jumu‘a prayer was performed. Has the Jumu‘a prayer been validly performed or not? (2) In the Jumu‘a khutba, the first khutba was recited very briefly, that is, to the extent of three verses, and the second khutba was also of that length, but in the Jumu‘a prayer very long suras were recited.

Answer

If, before the Jumu‘a, the Eid khutba was recited as the second khutba, the Jumu‘a prayer has still been validly performed; do not worry. If the first Jumu‘a khutba is to the extent of three verses, the second khutba is the same, and the recitation [in the prayer] is from the long suras of the mufassal (tiwal al-mufassal)
