Residing in a place whose environment is one of sin

Question

Question: If in some place haram deeds are committed in abundance, and they are forbidden but do not stop, is it proper to live there or not, when one can also live elsewhere?

Answer

If there is hope of reform through him, even if gradual, then it is better to remain there. If there is a fear that he himself will become involved in it, then he should leave that place.
