The Difference Between the Kufr of Abu Jahl, the People of the Book, the Hypocrites and the Rafidah

Question

If the degrees of the kufr of Abu Jahl, the kufr of the People of the Book, the kufr of the hypocrites and the kufr of the Rafidah differ, what is the explanation of each and what is the ruling on each?

Answer

The kufr of Abu Jahl is original kufr: not even a breath of iman touched him, he never claimed iman, he acknowledged his kufr to the very end and persisted in it; having spent all his strength in opposing Islam, he was killed at the battle of Badr and went to Hell for ever.
