Iman Is Not Lost by Eating Pork Under Compulsion

Question

If a Muslim is trapped in such a place that the disbelievers forcibly make him consume wine or pork, and he consumes it in order to save his life — has he left iman or not?

Answer

By reason of such compulsion he has not left Islam. Let him, with the utmost regret, supplicate Allah to protect him from the like in the future.
