Reading Pamphlets of Mixed Content

Question

Question: According to the Sacred Law, what is the ruling on reading, studying, and keeping in one’s possession pamphlets such as “Hadi” or “Humaya”? Note: two such pamphlets are enclosed with the question as samples.

Answer

They contain not a few pieces of excellent counsel and admonition, depictions of the sacred places, and some illustrations devoted to na‘t (poems in praise of the Prophet ﷺ) and the like; but they also contain material that destroys morals and belief, as well as photographs of living human beings and animals.
