Hajj While Wrongfully Holding Another’s Land

Question

Khalid has wrongfully seized (ghasb) ‘Umar’s land and holds it. If Khalid goes for Hajj, will the Hajj be valid or not?

Answer

The sin of seizing the land is a separate sin in its own right, but the Hajj will be discharged. If, however, the Hajj was performed with haram money, it will not be accepted (maqbul).
