Omitting the Muzdalifa Stay in Order to Escort the Weak

Question

If healthy men accompanying women and elderly men do not stay at Muzdalifa for some reason, they will have to give a dam. In that case, how can the women and elderly men go alone from ‘Arafat to their tent in Mina? And if other healthy people also wish to take these excused people from ‘Arafat to Mina, leave them there and come back, then nowadays, because of the very great crowds, coming to Muzdalifa and staying there will become difficult, and finding the other companions will be impossible.

Answer

It is best that everyone stays at Muzdalifa: because of the weak there will be greater help: [ar]هَلْ تُنْصَرُونَ إِلَّا بِضُعَفَائِكُمْ[/ar] “Are you helped except through your weak ones?” If this cannot be done, then whichever healthy person leaves before this standing (during the night itself) in order to look after and protect these weak ones should give a dam.
