Allah Most High will not forgive the rights of people

Question

If Zayd commits oppression, violence and plunder against Bakr, will God forgive as long as Bakr does not forgive? What is the ruling of the Shari‘a of God and the Messenger: do the one who does it and the one who has it done bear one and the same sin, or separate ones?

Answer

The rule is precisely this: Allah Most High will not forgive the rights of people (huquq al-‘ibad).
