Forgiveness of the rights of people through repentance
Question
A certain person does evil deeds: he has stolen, committed an evil act with a woman, with boys and with an animal, and took a hand-to-hand loan and did not repay it. Now his heart wishes to repent from all these deeds. Can he become purified of these vices?
Answer
Let him repay the debt of those from whom he took and did not return; let him return to those whose property he stole what he stole; and let him seek forgiveness from Allah the Pure with utmost remorse for his past sins and with humility, weep and implore, and make a firm pledge for the future that he will not commit any sin.
