The names Yahya and Nasir

Question

Question: I have two sons, Yahya A‘zam (یحیٰ اعظم) and Nasir A‘zam (ناصر اعظم); I gave them these names by joining them to my own name, since my name is Nur al-A‘zam (نور الاعظم). However, I am ignorant in matters of religion, so with all respect I ask: will these names not be bad from the point of view of the Shari‘a? If that is so, would it be better if they were named Ghulam Muhammad Yahya and Ghulam Muhammad Nasir, or not?

Answer

The names Yahya and Nasir are also correct and sufficient. If something must be added, then make the full names Muhammad Yahya and Muhammad Nasir.
