Sewing coats and trousers

Question

Question: Zayd's work is sewing clothes, and he has to make various kinds of garments, among which he also has to make coats and trousers; and trousers at this time are being made in such a style that they are tight around the thighs. Kindly give an answer: is sewing coats and trousers permissible or impermissible?

Answer

In sewing such a garment there is no likelihood of exposing the ʿawra, that is, it does not uncover that part of a man's body whose covering is fard. If the trousers are tight around the thighs in such a way that the shape of the thigh does not show through them, then there is no difficulty.
