The loincloth

Question

Question: Is it more virtuous (afdal) to tie a loincloth and the like (underwear) beneath the waist-cloth? If so, why?

Answer

There is no mention of the loincloth. If someone has the ailment of urinary dribbling, or the ailment of hernia (descent of the intestine), or tightening the body is itself the aim, or there is some other benefit, then using it is not prohibited.
