Obtaining children by means of apparatus

Question

Question: Scientists in England, without any intimacy or intercourse of a man, have succeeded in producing a human being by introducing male cells (seed) by means of apparatus into the ovum of the female sex. They have invented an artificial womb into which the semen of a man and a woman is introduced by injection, after which special care is taken over its nourishment and development: they continually supply it, by injection, with its food — blood and the like — and continue this process up to a fixed time.

Answer

The situation described is contrary to nature (fitra) and carries within it many evils (mafasid). The semen of a man was taken and the semen of his wife was taken, both were placed in an artificial womb, and then, after passing through various stages, a child was produced.
