Using a woman’s milk as a treatment
Question
Is it permissible for a husband, owing to some ailment, to use his wife’s milk — pure or as part of some other prescription — in the throat, the eye and the like?
Answer
It is not permissible: whether it is one’s own wife’s or any other woman’s, all of it is impermissible. However, the prohibition of milk-kinship (hurmat al-rada‘a) is not established by this.
