Tinned milk

Question

Question: Is it permissible according to the Shari‘a to use dry milk from sealed tins or not? Because of the shortage of milk, almost all of us Muslims of Kashmir use the milk from these dry tins. Kindly take the trouble to inform us of the answer.

Answer

Using dry tinned milk is permissible according to the Shari‘a. But if it is established that it is impure, or that something impure has been mixed into it, then it will not be permissible.
