Selling leaves without the owner’s permission; the milk and meat of an animal fed impermissible leaves
Question
Some people pluck and bring leaves without the owner’s permission, and people buy them and feed them to their animals. What is the ruling on drinking the milk of these animals, and on their sacrifice and ‘aqiqa?
Answer
Plucking and selling leaves without the owner’s permission is prohibited; buying leaves from such people is also prohibited. (For permission it is enough that the owner knows and does not forbid it.) However, the milk and meat of the animal that was fed these leaves are not haram.
