A Muslim Selling Wood for Cremating a Hindu’s Body

Question

What is the ruling of the Shari‘a on a Muslim supplying wood and the like for cremating a Hindu’s dead body?

Answer

If a Hindu buys wood from a Muslim, and the Muslim knows that he will cremate a dead body with it, it is permissible to sell to him.
