Description

Turkey — turkey meat; US classes: fryer-roaster, young, yearling, mature. Turkey thigh is made into “turkey ham” (card `ham`). The slaughter method need not be stated on the label.

Basis of the ruling

Turkey is the meat of turkeys, including 'turkey ham' made from the thigh. The bird itself is permissible as food when slaughtered according to the Shariah.
