Ruling: Mashbuh (doubtful)

Description

Oil from castor beans (Ricinus communis): a carrier solvent, release, anticaking and glazing agent. The raw material is plant. A link to alcohol appears in inventions (extraction with ethanol or methanol) and in a record of ricinoleic acid shipped in a tank after alcohol; per applicants, the oil is pressed and the rest extracted from the cake with hexane or «6号溶剂».

Basis of the ruling
