Surah Al-Mulk (الملك)

• 67:1

  تَبَـٰرَكَ ٱلَّذِى بِيَدِهِ ٱلْمُلْكُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

  Most Exalted is the Being in Whose control is all of the kingdom (everything in the universe) and Who has power over everything.

• 67:2

  ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْمَوْتَ وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا ۚ وَهُوَ ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفُورُ

  He has created death and life to test which of you carry out the best acts (during his/her lifetime before death). He is the Mighty (no one can escape from Him), the Most Forgiving.

• 67:3

  ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ سَبْعَ سَمَـٰوَٰتٍ طِبَاقًا ۖ مَّا تَرَىٰ فِى خَلْقِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ مِن تَفَـٰوُتٍ ۖ فَٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ هَلْ تَرَىٰ مِن فُطُورٍ

  He has created the seven heavens in layers. You will not see any inconsistency (defect, fault) in Allaah's creation. Look again. Do you see any cracks (in the sky)?

• 67:4

  ثُمَّ ٱرْجِعِ ٱلْبَصَرَ كَرَّتَيْنِ يَنقَلِبْ إِلَيْكَ ٱلْبَصَرُ خَاسِئًا وَهُوَ حَسِيرٌ

  Look again and once again (as many times as you please) and your gaze will return embarrassed (defeated) and exhausted (unable to see any defects).

• 67:5

  وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَـٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَـٰطِينِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

  Indeed we have adorned the nearest (lowest) sky with lanterns (stars) and have made them (the stars) a means of pelting the Shayaateen (see verses 6-10 of Surah 37). (In addition to this,) We have prepared for them (the Shayaateen) the punishment of the Blaze (Jahannam).

• 67:6

  وَلِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِرَبِّهِمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ ۖ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ

  The punishment of Jahannam shall be for those who disbelieve in their Rabb and it is indeed an evil place to return to (with the satans).

• 67:7

  إِذَآ أُلْقُوا۟ فِيهَا سَمِعُوا۟ لَهَا شَهِيقًا وَهِىَ تَفُورُ

  When they are thrown into it, they will hear it roar as it rages (in addition to it being a raging inferno, Jahannam will also be angry with the Kuffaar).
