The Holy Quran 67:18 — Surah Al-Mulk

Arabic text

وَلَقَدْ كَذَّبَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيرِ

Translation

Verily those before them (present day Kuffaar) rejected (the message of their Ambiyaa عليهم الصلاة والسلام), so how (devastating) was My punishment (when it arrived)? (The Kuffaar should learn a lesson from the destruction of past nations and mend their ways.)

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولقد كذَّب الذين كانوا قبل كفار «مكة» كقوم نوح وعاد وثمود رسلهم، فكيف كان إنكاري عليهم، وتغييري ما بهم من نعمة بإنزال العذاب بهم وإهلاكهم؟
