The Holy Quran 67:5 — Surah Al-Mulk

Arabic text

وَلَقَدْ زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنْيَا بِمَصَـٰبِيحَ وَجَعَلْنَـٰهَا رُجُومًا لِّلشَّيَـٰطِينِ ۖ وَأَعْتَدْنَا لَهُمْ عَذَابَ ٱلسَّعِيرِ

Translation

Indeed we have adorned the nearest (lowest) sky with lanterns (stars) and have made them (the stars) a means of pelting the Shayaateen (see verses 6-10 of Surah 37). (In addition to this,) We have prepared for them (the Shayaateen) the punishment of the Blaze (Jahannam).

Tafsir (excerpt) — التفسير الميسر

ولقد زيَّنا السماء القريبة التي تراها العيون بنجوم عظيمة مضيئة، وجعلناها شهبًا محرقة لمسترقي السمع من الشياطين، وأعتدنا لهم في الآخرة عذاب النار الموقدة يقاسون حرها.
