The obligation of the sacrifice and sadaqat al-fitr on account of owning land

Question

Up to a certain point I was the owner of the land itself, that is, the land as such was my property. Its extent was such that on its income and produce I lived in most years in a way that nothing was left over from its income to save, nor was there any shortfall in my livelihood and expenses that would require borrowing from others. This was the situation most of the time, that is, the land was as much as was needed.

Answer

Since this land is in excess of your basic needs (hawa’ij asliyya), in that you took nothing from its produce except 50 rupees and three blankets, and on the contrary always gave the produce to your sister as tabarruk (?), both the sacrifice and sadaqat al-fitr were wajib upon you. This is evident and not hidden.
