Lending zakat money to a madrasa employee

Question

Is it permissible for the rector of a madrasa — by virtue of his being the agent (wakil) of the community — to give an employee of the institution a loan from the madrasa’s zakat money, or not? The donor also writes: “If it is appropriate, let a loan be given.”

Answer

After the donor’s permission, it is permissible for the rector to lend the zakat money at his discretion.
