Denying having given land to a madrasa after giving it

Question

A person gave some land to a madrasa and announced that he had given the land, but now he is denying it. Should such a person be believed or not?

Answer

If there are witnesses to his giving the land to the madrasa and making it waqf, then his denial is not to be considered.
