To Whom Does What Is Given in the Mosque Belong?
Question
The offerings that come into the mosque — whose right are they?
Answer
The food and drink that are given in the mosque are given for the imam and the mu’adhdhin, and it is their right alone. If some item is given for the mosque, such as a prayer mat, a water jug, a prayer rug and the like, then it belongs to the mosque.
