Incorporating an adjoining plot into the mosque

Question

(1) Adjoining the mosque, a place has been designated separately from the very beginning in the name of a madrasa. Can this place be included in the mosque while running the madrasa? And sometimes, when the number of worshippers increases, can congregational prayer be performed in the aforementioned place under the imamate of the mosque’s own imam or not?

Answer

(1) If that place is someone’s property, then including it in the mosque with the owner’s permission is correct. If it is separate (a waqf) for the madrasa, then it should not be included in the mosque. If it is a waqf for the mosque, then it may be included in the mosque by mutual consultation as needed.
