Repairing the Mosque Without the Mutawalli’s Permission

Question

May Muhammad Afaq have the mosque repaired without the permission of the mutawalli (trustee of the waqf), or not?

Answer

No one else should interfere in the mutawalli’s arrangements. If repairs and the like are needed, the mutawalli should be told, and one should cooperate with him.
