Dividing a district society

Question

Question: In the Dar al-‘Ulum there is a district society, which runs on the money of the graduates since the founding of the society and of its present members. In the society there are books, cash and other items which every member of the society has the right to benefit from, and none of them is anyone’s property.

Answer

1. If, by government order, two districts have been formed, what of it? Have the people of the society also been forbidden to stay together? Let them all put their heads together and remain jointly as before; I hope they will not be fined for it, nor will the government imprison them.
