Details of partnership in the sacrifice of a goat, a camel and a cow

Question

Question: One goat, or a sheep and the like, suffices on behalf of one household, even if its members are many. Abu Dawud.

Answer

It is reported from Imam Malik ﵀ that the sacrifice of one badana (a camel or a cow) suffices on behalf of one household, even if they are more than seven, and does not suffice on behalf of two households, even if they are fewer than seven.
