The ruling on castrating animals

Question

Question: Is it permissible to castrate animals such as a male buffalo, a billy goat and the like, or not? Is it valid to take a wage for castrating or not? And what is the ruling on sacrificing a castrated animal? Kindly favour us with a reasoned answer.

Answer
