Ruling on talaq by saying the word “talaqan” a hundred times
Question
Question: A man called his wife “طلاقن” (“talaqan”, i.e. “divorced woman”) a hundred times. What is the ruling for this woman?
Answer
If he said it within the ‘idda, then by saying it three times she has become subject to a major (mughallaza) divorce — provided that the marriage has been consummated with the woman (madkhula) and she has not received a talaq from some previous husband.
