A divorce deed left in trust with someone
Question
What do you say, may Allah Most High have mercy on you — what do the scholars of the religion say on this issue: a man said, “I have not given my wife talaq by utterance in any way, but in a divorce deed bearing my wife’s name I wrote three talaqs and handed it in trust to a certain person.” Afterwards that person sent the divorce deed to the wife’s father.
Answer
You have written the divorce deed in Bengali script, and I cannot read Bengali script; another person has translated it, and I am writing the answer in accordance with that. The ruling of the Shari‘a in the case asked about is that three talaqs have fallen upon his wife and she has become mughallaza (divorced by a major divorce)
