It Crossed the Mind: “If I Recite Such-and-Such a Sura — Talaq”

Question

I was in prayer, and right in the prayer, owing to a satanic whisper (waswasa), it suddenly passed through my heart that if I recite such-and-such a sura, talaq will take effect. I held back from reciting that sura until the thought of talaq had gone completely, and then recited that sura. Afterwards what is written above came back to my memory. Now my heart is uneasy that talaq might take effect. Since the satanic whisper suddenly came into my heart, my wife has had two menstruations (hayd)

Answer

No talaq will take effect because of reciting that sura after merely such a whisper having come; rest assured.
