Because of Pig’s Blood on the Spear, the Meat Should Be Purified Before Eating
Question
A hog deer (?), wounded by a hunter, was making off; on the way it was struck with a pig spear (on which there was pig’s blood), and then it was slaughtered. Is that meat fit to eat or not?
Answer
If it is an animal whose meat is eaten, and it was slaughtered in the Shari‘a manner while still alive, then eating its meat is permissible; it should be purified before being eaten.
