Refusing Iftar Food Brought by Others
Question
A certain person in blessed Ramadan brings iftar food from his home and places it in the mosque, but he himself refuses to take anyone else's iftar food. Should the other fasting people eat this person's iftar food or not?
Answer
Whoever, without a reason recognised by the Shari'a, has an aversion to the iftar food brought by another does wrong; this should never be done. If the other people do not accept the iftar food he has brought, a lasting aversion will settle in everyone's heart.
