Attending a gathering that causes Fajr to be missed
Question
The customary gatherings generally last until the last part of the night — until two or three o'clock — so that it is most likely that the morning prayer will be missed. What is [the ruling on] cooperating with them and attending them?
Answer
If it is likely (mazanna) that the Fajr prayer will be missed, one should not attend the gathering; if it will not be missed, one may attend.
