The Effect of Abandoning Prayer on Others

Question

Is it a correct ruling that if in a neighbourhood there is one person who does not pray, God’s curse descends upon that neighbourhood seventy times?

Answer

About the curse, [I] have no knowledge; however, if the people of the neighbourhood have the ability to make him pray and they do not make him, then all of them will be afflicted by calamity.
