Should the uninformed be told after a verse of prostration is recited

Question

Among those who hear the verses of prostration there are often uninformed people as well. Is it necessary to tell them, “You have heard a verse of prostration, so perform the prostration”?

Answer

The uninformed person should indeed be told; otherwise, let the verse of prostration be recited quietly.
